  •        20 + hours of Facilities Engineering Education per year in the topics of Administration, Compliance, Planning & Design (Construction), Maintenance Operations, and Finance.
  •        Countless additional educational events/opportunities sponsored by Affiliate Organizations such as WV Hospital Association, OHFLAC, WV State Fire Marshal’s Association, WV ASHRAE, WV APIC, NFPA, ASHE and more.
  •        Vendor and Contractor Trainings through In-person events, Webinars, and On-demand training.
  •        WVSHE offers Certification and Training Reimbursement. Our goal is for every Healthcare Facility in WV to have a Certified Facilities Professional on their team.
  •        Member networking with other Facilities Managers, Directors, Technicians, as well as Project managers, Regulatory professionals and Infection Preventionists throughout the State
  •        Member networking with numerous Contractors, Vendors, and Service Providers throughout the State and Surrounding Areas including an Annual Trade Show.
  •        Moving up – that's right! Board members are nominated by our active members!
  •        All for a low membership fee of $35/year! There are no additional fees for members to attend the spring, summer, or fall meetings. The trade show is also cost-free for members!

Join ASHE

WVSHE members should get involved with ASHE. The American Society for Health Care Engineering (ASHE) is the largest association dedicated to optimizing the health care-built environment.

ASHE’s 12,000+ members design, build, and operate hospitals, and are involved in improving the health care physical environment from the time hospital blueprints are drawn throughout the lifespan of a facility. ASHE is a professional membership group of the American Hospital Association.
